Could This Be Your "Derby" Horse?
Meet “Big Bob”! He already stands 16.2 hands high and I think he’ll mature at close to 17hh! He’s a BIG HORSE all right, a very imposing individual with a massive stride!
If you’ve ever wanted to experience the thrills and excitement of owning a winner at the races, then this could be the perfect horse for you. He’s an awesome specimen, a strong, physical thoroughbred with plenty of presence about him, and he could very well give you some of the best times of your life...
BRED TO WIN:
From a pedigree point of view, he’s bred to be a winner. He's by the regally bred stallion Kempinsky, and there wouldn’t a better bred stallion at stud in all of Australia. By the World Champion stallion Danehill, from the dual Group 1 winner Tristalove (by Sir Tristram), Kempinsky boasts a famous female line. His second dam is Diamond Lover-dam of Group winners Don Eduardo, Peruzzi and Antwerp, and his third dam is Eight Carat – one of the legendary broodmares of modern times! This family produces winner after winner after winner...
The horse's dam (mother) Scarlet Princess is a half sister to three Stakes Winners who have won feature races in Malaysia and New Zealand, and another of her half sisters has produced CLUDEN CREEK who won the Wellington Cup (G1) over 3200m. Scarlet Princess has herself produced three individual winners including Gold Digger who won four races up to a mile, three of them in Hong Kong, and our own Red Geisha who has won at Moonee Valley and also been placed at Sandown and Caulfield. There is stoutness and strength all through this young horse’s pedigree, and all the indications are that he’ll run a strong mile or more. We’re hoping he can show enough potential to be a Derby horse!
BUILT TO RUN:
From a conformation point of view, he’s an excellent type-very correct – and he possesses a huge stride that sees him effortlessly cover ground. He’s got a lovely big frame on him, and when he matures, he’ll stand over 16.3 hands high with the looks and stature of an elegant, but very powerful thoroughbred. He's got massive hindquarters and is naturally well muscled all over. He'll look terrific with the jockey wearing our blue and white silks, the pair striding out together in their quest to deliver you your share of racetrack glory...
MEET YOUR TRAINER: PAUL JORDAN
Paul Jordan is a very experienced horse trainer who will provide your equine investment with the best of care. Paul has won some of Western Australia’s biggest races including;

• Colonel Reeves Stakes
Pauls’ stables have been a constant source of winners in WA for over 30 years! Month in-month out Paul Jordan trains winners-despite having just a relatively small team of around 15 horses in work at any one time receiving his personal attention. Paul has won over $2,000,000 worth of prizemoney for our syndicate members over the years and has won over 120+ races...
Just some of Paul’s big race winners have included the following Stakes performers;
Hot Jules - Devilish Dealer - Hot Shot Brother - Reigning Halo - The Bukrah - El Cordero - Genuine Girl - Terevega - Corso Plus - Don Pasquale - Royal Delta - Todtona - Lord Jupiter - Volition - Azabu Princess - Miss Belhus - Danish Sea - Revolition, For Your Eyes Onlyand many other city winners including - Halopak - Polish Pleasure - Air Pocket - Fire From Ice - Mexican Mist - Red Wine - Clarecastle, etc.
10 SHARE SYNDICATE:
This is a 10 share syndicate priced at $8,950 each. The monthly syndicate fees to pay for stabling, training, racing, floating and transportation within the Perth metro area, agistment, normal vet services, gear, colours, newsletters and all other communications and management for the syndicate are $282.50/month for a 10% share (around $9/day), or $182.50/month for a 5% share ($6/day). The actual cost to you will of course be reduced with your share of the horse’s prizemoney. For instance, just one Saturday metro win will bring that $9.28/day down to $2.16/day for a 10% share . Now that’s a very inexpensive hobby!
Your Ownership of a Racehorse Bestows the Following Privileges….
• Access to the tie-up stalls on race day;
• Passes to enter the saddling enclosure to speak with your trainer & jockey, (usually issued on a rotational basis);
• Tickets into the Owners Stand to watch your race;
• Opportunity to lead your horse back to the Winners Circle after a win for that much sought after photo!
• YOUR SHARE OF PRIZEMONEY!
Owning a racehorse can be one of the best things you’ll ever do in your whole life. When you go to the races as an owner though, it pays to put the odds in your favour and have a bit of class on your side. This horse has the depth in his pedigree, and the physique required to do the job. We’ve coupled him up with a proven, experienced trainer to guide him on the way.
All he needs now are the owners to come along and enjoy the journey with him. I hope you can be one of them, and just like others have done for us before, I hope this horse can bring you some of the best times of your life too!
Brochures on this new syndicate are now available. Call Peter Morley on 0408 9111 22 or email peter@belhusracing.com.au
See you in the Winners Circle!

Current Status:
In his first campaign he went right through to an unofficial barrier jump out (of which there is a video available) before being turned out. He's a big horse and we don't want to do too much with him early. He'll be out until early to mid August when he can once return to work with Ascot trainer Paul Jordan...
